I received a call telling me I finalled in RWA's 2011 Golden Heart Contest!!! Yay!!! My finaling entry is LOVING ELLIE and it's in the Series Contemporary category. Winners will be announced at Nationals in NYC this summer.

I have a good feeling about this year and really hope to be wearing a pink ribbon in New York City this summer. For those of you not in RWA, a pink ribbon is given to conference attendees who have their first recognized sale.

Bought myself a Kindle and I absolutely love it! I was worried because I am an avid reader and like the feel of holding a book in my hands, but I took to the Kindle immediately. It's light and the page turning is so smooth. I hardly ever have to charge it which I love. If anyone is thinking about getting an e-reader, the Kindle gets my vote!
